CUSTOM AI AGENTS / BUILD & INTEGRATE

Custom AI agents built around your business workflow.

AIC designs, develops, integrates, deploys and maintains custom AI agents for a defined job in your business. We start with the work, then configure the agent’s environment, approved tools, resources and human checkpoints around it.

WHAT CUSTOM MEANS

A working system, shaped to your task.

A generic AI subscription gives your team a tool. A custom build starts with a recurring task and an agreed result: what information is authoritative, which systems the agent may reach, what it may prepare or do, and when a person must decide. The answer may include an agent, a focused automation, or both. We do not recommend an agent when a simpler process will serve you better.

Small businesses and professional teams often begin with one workflow: preparing a document, organizing internal knowledge, routing an intake item, or drafting the next step for review. Each build is scoped to the tools and permissions the client approves.

FROM DISCOVERY TO CARE

How a custom agent becomes useful.

1. Define the job

Map the current workflow, the expected output, source of truth, exceptions and acceptance criteria. An Audit & Roadmap can help when the right solution is still unclear.

2. Build and connect

Prepare a dedicated working environment, configure the agent, and connect only approved resources and supported tools. API access, licensing, authentication and provider behavior are checked before an integration is agreed.

3. Test and deploy

Test real scenarios, permission boundaries, handoffs and failure conditions for the agreed workflow. Deployment may use a managed VPS or a supported local environment, depending on the build and its written responsibilities.

4. Maintain and improve

After launch, Managed Care covers the agreed environment and connectors. Changes to the workflow, access or level of autonomy need a new decision and scope.

GROUNDED EXAMPLE

From a field update to reviewable paperwork.

In an internal founder workflow, a spoken or typed field update is turned into structured service paperwork ready for a person to review. The example demonstrates document preparation and a clear review step; it does not establish a universal time saving or prove the same result for a client’s systems.

Read the evidence and its limits. The build journey shows how a first workflow is scoped and tested.

GOOD FIT / CLEAR LIMITS

When is a custom build the right step?

It is worth discussing when a repeatable task needs business context, approved information, several steps or a handoff across systems. We establish value, reliability and risk before expanding the agent’s responsibility. Consequential decisions, payments, binding commitments, regulated data and unsupervised customer messages require separate treatment and may stay with a person.

Custom builds are quoted to scope. The build, ongoing care, infrastructure and client-owned model or third-party subscriptions are agreed separately. A custom quote is not the same as the standard Executive Assistant starting package. See pricing and service boundaries for the published framework.
